Johnnie Marie Collins

Johnnie Marie Collins was born in Cleburne, Texas on March 31, 1942, to Richard and Elise Carlock. She passed away Saturday morning, April 20, 2024. She was transported to her heavenly home surrounded by family.
Johnnie grew up on the family farm with her parents and three siblings, Chuck, Peggy, and Leon. She graduated from Joshua Independent School in 1960 where she played basketball and fast pitch baseball, was a cheerleader, and Miss. J.H.S. After marrying Bill Collins in 1960 she kept working on the family farm, loved gardening and canning fresh vegetables and fruits, and loved raising her 3 boys and being involved in their school activities. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and her faith was very important in her life. She loved traveling and had great adventures traveling throughout the U.S., Medjugorje in Bosnia, Australia, and Mexico.
Johnnie was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Collins, and her parents, Richard and Elsie Carlock, and her grandson, Mark Lewis.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Terry, Bart, and Richard, and grandson, Paul Marsh and wife Phung and 2 great-grandchildren, John and Joanna.
