Adam lost his two-year battle with Melanoma on March 19, 2021 and entered the gates of Heaven to see his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his mother Cheryl.
Adam was born in Fort Worth and raised in Burleson. He attended Burleson High School and worked for the railroad in Cleburne. Adam loved being a dad more than anything in life. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and spending time with those he cared about. He was also an avid follower of the Dallas Mavericks, the Dallas Stars, TCU and the Dallas Cowboys sports teams. Adam touched many people on his journey to fight cancer from Dallas to Denver. A true warrior until the end, he fought every day and gave it his all.
Adam is survived by his precious daughter Paisley who he loved with all his heart; Dad and Bonus Mom, Doug and Karen Sandifer of Burleson; sister Katie and husband Brian Miller and nephew Harrison of Irving; soulmate, best friend and caretaker, Cassie Young of Cleburne; Uncle and Aunt, Todd and Tami Wadlington of Weatherford; Aunt and Uncle, Cindy and Al Dyer of Lapeer, Michigan. He also leaves behind a host of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to VNA Ann’s Haven of Denton or the University of Colorado Anschutz Melanoma Research Fund.
We are asking that all attending please Wear A Mask out of respect for the family.
Following the service the family will have a private interment.
