Alan Roy Clements was born on 24 August 1971 in Fort Worth, TX to Frank & Beverly Clements. He passed away Feb. 10, 2022.
Service: 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, at Alsbury Baptist Church. Visitation: 6-8 Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Burial to follow at 1:15 p.m. March 1 at DFW National Cemetery.
As a young man Alan was actively involved in Boy Scouts, achieving Eagle Scout, sang in choirs & played soccer. As an adult Alan proudly served those around him in many roles. On 11 March 2000 Alan married his best friend, Stephanie Underwood Ortiz. Together they raised 3 amazing children - Alex, Anna & Cooper. Alan loved being a deacon in the local church & serving as an Non-Commissioned Officer in the Texas Army National Guard. When he was deployed in Iraq he served as the SAMS operator & retired in 2018 after nearly 22 years in the service. Alan & Stephanie served tirelessly in the Burleson/Joshua communities & beyond. He was well known as someone you could count on anytime, anywhere.
Alan was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Clements.
He is survived by his father, Frank Clements; his loving wife, Stephanie; and their children Alex Clements, Anna Dowthitt & husband, Dakota, & Cooper Clements; as well as their 2 grandchildren Scarlette Clements & Brady Dowthitt.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Holy Cross Christian Academy in Burleson or Joshua High School FFA.
