Alan Wayne Meadows passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021. Born January 11, 1985, in Fort Worth, Texas, he was pursuing a PhD at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary while conducting the choir at Trinity Cumberland Presbyterian Church and substitute teaching at Covenant Classical School.  Alan loved music and live theater, performing through the years with the Greater Cleburne Carnegie Players and Southwest Reprise Theatre.  He was a gifted musician, singer, and audio-visual technician.  Alan gave the best hugs and had the best laugh.

Alan is preceded in death by his mom, Shirley.

Alan is survived by his father, Barry Meadows, sister Amber Meadows and husband Cabel Brooks, niece Shaelyn, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

“Don’t forget to take the time and tell people how much they mean to you, sometimes it is the smallest kindness we can do for others that makes their day, you never know how they are feeling right now.”

Alan and Shirley will have a Joint Graveside service at Greenacres Memorial Park, Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 10am
