Alfred F. Pippin

Alfred F. Pippin, 90, passed away February 13, 2014, in Cleburne. Service: 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Grandview Cemetery in Grandview. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Friday at the Funeral Home. Alfred was born November 12, 1923, in Itasca to Louis and Eva Lee Polson Pippin. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII and loved telling stories about it. Alfred enjoyed gardening, going to church and watching WWII shows on TV. He loved monthly family get-togethers. Alfred was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Julian and Kenneth Pippin. Survivors: wife of 60 years, Rene Pippin; daughters, Eva Joness and husband Wynn of Crowley, and Beth Pippin of Burleson; grandchildren: Rachael and Lauren Joness; sister, Bess Ware of Duncanville; many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
