LAKESIDE VILLAGE -- Alice Ann Hughes, 66, of Lakeside Village passed from this life to begin her eternal life in heaven, Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at her residence. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Thursday in Kimball Bend Cemetery in Bosque County. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Alice Ann Hughes was born June 9, 1941, in Fort Worth to Doug F. and Nelma C. Bogus Anderson. She lived in Rendon for 30 years before moving to Lakeside Village in 2005. She retired from Old Castle Pre-Cast in Mansfield. Alice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and always communicated to those around her that she rested her faith in him. She was dearly loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. The family would like to express a special thanks to Marie Spears and the many friends at Lakeside Village for their love and support these past few months. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Billy C. Anderson; and a sister, Beverly Anderson. Survivors: Husband of 15 years, Allen Hughes; son, Tad Anderson and wife, Candace, of Burleson; daughter, Sherri Rogers of Arlington; brother, David Anderson and wife, Marybeth, of Mansfield; grandchildren, Jeremy Thomas, Jessica Fincher, Zachary Anderson, Cameron Anderson; and three great-grandchildren.
