Alma Irene Ogden

With loved ones at her side, Alma Irene Ogden, age 85, went to meet her Lord on September 29, 2021, at her home in Burleson, Texas.

Alma’s heart was consumed with praising the Lord and loving her children — daughter Kay McClure, daughter Penny Gumfory and her husband Mark, daughter Carroll Locklear and her husband Larry. Alma is survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Alma and her late husband, J.D. Ogden, owned and operated J.D. Diesel Repair and Service in Cleburne, Texas, for a number of years. Alma loved to sing to the residents of several nursing homes while J.D. played the guitar. “No one’s yes shinned so bright with love as our moms who is now high above.”

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua, Texas. Graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4 at Laurel Land Cemetery, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX.
