Anita May Brock

Anita Brown Brock, 86, passed away June 4, 2024, in Burleson, Texas. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 11 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home with graveside service to follow at Godley Cemetery in Godley. Anita was born in Johnson County to Les and Lorene Brown on April 16, 1938. She lived in different areas of Johnson and Tarrant Counties as her father worked at several dairies before settling in Fort Worth, Texas. Anita married Wayne Brock on April 27,1952. After several jobs she chose to become a sales lady for Home Interiors, which she loved and excelled at for years. Wayne and Anita moved to Crowley in the early 70s and she remained in their home until her death. Anita was an avid lover of her several dogs, and she loved working in her yard, showing her green thumb for years.

Anita is survived by her cousin and best friend, Pat Bandy; nephew Rick Brown and wife Jackie; niece Linda Rawdon and husband Bo; niece Judy Vaden; numerous cousins, and relatives as well as friends of many years.

Preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Brock; parents, Les and Lorene Brown; brother James Brown; nephew Gary Brown; other nieces and relatives.
