Anna Marie (Glennan) Wilson

Anna Marie (Glennan) Wilson passed into eternal life on November 4, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Thomas H. Glennan and Fanny Ann (Stamper) Glennan in Lawton, Oklahoma on Feb. 28, 1934. The visitation and rosary will be held at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Burleson, Texas on November 7, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church on November 8, 2017 at 12 P.M. with Father Mel Bessellieu officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. Ann Building Fund for Renovation at 100 SW Alsbury Blvd., Burleson, Texas 76028. She attended Mt. St. Scholastica College (now Benedictine College) in Atchison, Kansas, and completed her studies with an Associate Degree in Commerce (Business) from Cameron College in 1953. She met her husband, Richard Gordon Wilson, from Sharon, Vermont, at an Oblate of Mary Immaculate meeting at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Midland, Texas. They were married on August 4, 1956. Anna enjoyed a successful business career, but her true passions were her family and gatherings of family and friends, cooking, and traveling with her husband. Her most memorable trip was to Ireland where she traced her family lineage and enjoyed the beauty of the countryside. Anna Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas H. Glennan and Fanny Ann (Stamper) Glennan, three brothers, Thomas Jack Glennan (Lois), John Herrell Glennan (Judy) and Joseph Bernard Glennan (Oleta), and Grandson, Jeffrey Schumacher. She is survived by her husband, Richard Gordon Wilson; four children, Maureen Marie Schumacher (James), Kathleen Louise Elliott, Matthew Wayne Wilson (Beverly) and Gary Eugene Wilson (Nita); grandchildren, Julie (Schumacher) Burch, Laurie (Schumacher) Martin, Wesley Schumacher, Marissa Wilson, Michael Wilson, and Jordan Elliott; step-grandchildren Gabrielle Vaughn, Analise Vaughn, Wendi Moore, Jeremy Yosten and Bradley Yosten; great-grandchildren, Mason Hunt, Landry Hunt, Alexander Burch, Alexandria Wilson, Haven Wilson, Madeline Martin, Mallory Martin, and Eli Schumacher; and step-great-grandchildren Vivian Booher, Dakota Burch, Austin Burch, Ashtyn Burch and Addyson Burch.
