Athelyn Nail, 58, of Yorktown, Texas passed away November 05, 2018.
A memorial service will be held, 11 am Saturday, November 8, 2018 at Burleson Church of Christ.
Athelyn was born on April 13, 1960 to Harold and Betty Nail. She graduated with honors from Burleson High School in 1978.
Athelyn was adventurous and loved traveling anywhere the wind would take her. She loved shopping and being around people. Athelyn was fun and outgoing with her signature contagious smile. A person who would do anything for anyone in need and without hesitation, she would give someone the shirt off of her back. Not one to ask for much, Athelyn truly had a heart of gold and a fierce love for her family and friends. She has left this place for a better one, but she leaves this world a better place for having been here.
Survivors: sister, Sharon Nail Derrington and brother-in-law, Steve Derrington; nephews, Brian Youngblood and Angela Youngblood, Derek Youngblood and Rebecca Woodward, Dustin Youngblood and Sara Edwards; aunts, Valera Lee, Roberta Murray; cousins, Brenda Martin, Randy Murray, Vicki Calvert; life partner, Jimmy Hattaway; 7 great-nieces and great-nephews; 1 great-great nephew; many other loving friends and extended family.
