JOSHUA

Audrey Lee McCormick, 79 of Joshua, Texas passed from this life into eternity with our heavenly Father on October 19, 2021.  He was born September 20, 1942 to Earnest Lee McCormick and Minnie Grace Lounsbury.

Audrey Lee married Catherine McCormick on September 9, 1970 and celebrated 51 years of marriage this year.

Audrey was a welder by trade and went on to be a supervisor of whole assembly line before retirement from Freight Masters after 30 years of service.  He was a dedicated employee with a strong work ethic and rarely missed a day of work.

He was an avid fisherman who loved camping and the outdoors.  About the only thing he loved more than fishing and camping was his family – especially his grandkids.  He enjoyed watching sports and rarely missed the grandkids baseball and football games as they were growing up.  He enjoyed working on cars in his younger days and was an excellent self taught mechanic, who knew how to repair most anything on an automobile.  In his retirement years, he enjoyed a good game of poker with friends and was a member of the Moose Lodge.  He touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by: his son, Randy McCormick, daughter, Deanna Leach, brother, Ricky McCormick, parents, Earnest Lee McCormick and Minnie Grace Lounsbury and grandson, Joshua Morris

He is survived by: his wife Catherine McCormick of Joshua, Texas; sister Loyce Enos and husband Jimmy Enos; daughters Mollie Morris and husband Ricky Morris, Julie Cline and husband Chris Cline, Monica Black and husband David Black; son Mark Maughon; daughter in Law Jolynn McCormick; Grandchildren, Billy Maughon, Kyle Kinkade, Kameron Kinkade, Kaston McCormick, Kade McCormick, Kesslie McCormick, Kansas McCormick; great grandsons Tucker Kinkade and Arlen Kinkade and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family that loved his dearly.  Rest in Peace Audrey Lee (Bubber, Bubba, Mac) McCormick.
