Barbara Jean Estes

Barbara Jean Estes was born in Fort Worth on September 28, 1936 and passed away in Aledo surrounded by her family on November 28, 2020.  She was a 1954 graduate of Burleson High School.

She retired in 2003 from Citi Financial.  Her interest included cooking, crafts, gardening and enjoying life fishing and watching the sunsets from her porch on Lake Granbury.  Barbara had an intense love of family and friends.  She always loved getting them together for a weekend or special occasion.

She is survived by her brother Bill Johnston, her sister Debbie Eakin, her son Michael Estes and daughter Pam Parks.  She had 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her mother Frances Johnston, her husband Sam Killam, her son Steve Estes and her brother Buster Johnston.

She will be missed by many and will forever live on in our hearts.
