JOSHUA -- Barbara Faye Meyer, 69, a retired title clerk, passed away Wednesday July 2, 2008 in Fort Worth. Service: 2:00 pm Monday July 7, 2008 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Caddo Cemetery. Visitation: 2-4 pm Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Barbara was born Nov. 26, 1938 in Harwood, North Dakota to Kenneth and Francis Johnson Soberg. She married James L. Meyer on April 27, 1957 in Harwood, North dakota. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved playing bingo and many other games along with spending time with her family and friends. Barbara especially liked family get togethers. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and 3 sisters. Survivors: Husband, James L. Meyer of Joshua; sons, Timothy J. Meyer of Joshua, Kenton L. Meyer and wife Amanda A. of Joshua, Brian K. Meyer and wife Sherri L. of Joshua; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 4 brothers; 2 sisters.
