Barbara Ann Mallory Porter, known affectionately to family and friends as Bobbi, conquered
illness and sadness, and delicately eased from this life on June 12, 2022, surrounded by her
family. She took our hearts with her, but in return she filled our lives with love and sweetness.
To her nieces and nephews she was Aunt Boo. To her husband she was his Barbie. Bobbi had
the greatest capacity for love and compassion, and in appearance was the most beautiful of a
beautiful family.
She was preceded in this journey by her most precious gift and daughter Megan Elizabeth
Porter, by her dearest Pa, Jack Mallory, by her darling grandmother Willa Belle Cranford, and
so many more whose lives touched Bobbi and brought her happiness in her own life.
Bobbi is the survivor. Those left behind to fulfill her hopes and dreams for them include
husband Steven Porter, sisters Jackie Mallory and Sherrie Mallory Isenberg, brother Eddie
Mallory, mother LaVaun Mallory, and numerous aunts, uncles, beautiful nieces and handsome
nephews, as well as so many friends, all of whom were family to her. She loved us all, and we
loved her more than she ever realized.
Bobbi will be laid to rest beside Megan. But we are assured that these bodies are only the
physical. Their spirits shall surely reunite, for there was never a time when you and I did not
exist, nor will there ever be a future where we cease to exist.
In lieu of flowers, please be kind to one another, and see all creatures as an extension of
yourself. Find common ground, and forgive each other, for the love of Barbara Ann Mallory
Porter, 1959-2022.
