BURLESON -- Barbara Belle Wagner-Rogers, 70, of Burleson, a retired bookkeeper for the Fort Worth I.S.D. passed away Friday April 8 2011 in Dallas. Funeral: 10 am Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6-8 pm Tues. at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Barbara was born Jan. 25, 1941 in Patton to George and Dora Kelton Alexander. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy in life. Barbara loved fishing, camping, outdoors, going to garage sales, gardening, flowers, watching birds, her animals. Barabara was a mother to all her childrens friends. She touched the lives of all she met and made a lasting impression. Barbara was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Barbara was also an organ donor and through her gift others may benefit from the gift of life. Her hope is that others would consider giving the gift of life also. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Claudie Wagner, parents and brothers and sisters. Survivors: Husband, William "Bill" Rogers of Burleson; daughter, Cynthia Wagner of Fort Worth; sons, Rodney Wagner and wife Patti of Meridian, Steven Wagner and wife Sharon of Joshua, Bradley Wagner of Dallas, Scott Pittman of Dallas; step children, Sonny Rogers, Jason Rogers, Sherri Cook, Patricia "Suzie" Billingsley, April Gerety; 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren; extended family and friends.
