Belle Bryant

JOSHUA -- Belle Bryant, 99, of Joshua, a homemaker, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: 2 p.m. Friday in Downing Cemetery near DeLeon. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Belle was born Jan. 2, 1909, in Downing to Plez and Cora Morrison Hulsey. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Belle loved cooking, sewing and watching sports, especially the Cowboys and Rangers. She also enjoyed bowling. Belle loved her family and loved spending time with them. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Bryant, in 1974. Survivors: Sons, Plez Bryant and wife, Debra, of Joshua and Charles Bryant and wife, Jerry, of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
