BURLESON -- Bert Wilson Jr., 76, of Burleson, a retired supervisor of operations for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for 36 years, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007, in Fort Worth. Service: 2 p.m. Friday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Burleson. Burial: Private in Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery in Fort Worth. Mr. Wilson was born Nov. 8, 1930, in Emerson, Ark., to Bert Sr. and Selma Peace Wilson. He married Jackie Collier on June 24, 1950, in Fort Worth. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Missouri. He was a Baptist and enjoyed fishing, family and friends. Survivors: Wife of 57 years, Jackie Wilson of Burleson; daughters, Terry Ann Wilson of Burleson, Temple Elayne Wilson of Fort Worth, Patti Rae Wilson-Hogg and husband, Steve, of Benbrook; brother, Wayne Wilson ad wife, Jane, of Benbrook; sister, Freda Moore and husband, Calvin, of Louisiana; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
