BURLESON -- Bertha Grace Sells, 87, of Burleson, a retired Williamson-Dickie employee, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, in Alvarado. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Prairie Springs Cemetery in Burleson. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Mrs. Sells was born Oct. 5, 1920, in Comanche County to William Lewis and Ollie Grace Wall Burkeen. She married Aaron Estell Sells on Dec. 9, 1944, in Hattiesburg, Miss. She was a member of Cana Baptist Church in Burleson. Bertha enjoyed sewing and was dedicated to the Lord, her church and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers; two sisters; and two grandsons, Timothy and Terry Sells. The family would like to express thanks to the Alvarado Meadows Nursing Home Staff and Mission Hospice for the special loving care they gave to their mother. Survivors: Sons, Gene Sells and wife, Lynne, of Alvarado, Donny Sells and wife, Georgia, of Burleson and Roger Sells and wife, Janis, of Arlington; sister, Lola Campbell of Stephenville; grandchildren, Jeff, Tony, Tammie, John, Pam, Sharie, Cyndy and Jay; three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
