Betty JoAnn Elam, 81, of Joshua, Texas, passed away Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019. She was born Oct. 5, 1938, to Raymond and Agnes Sanders.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11, 2019, in the Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be at Caddo Cemetery.
Betty was a homemaker. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved her family.
She loved to travel with her friends and family, flowers and gardening.
Betty is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bill Elam of Joshua; son, Jerry Elam and wife, Sharon, of Keene; daughter, Kim Kelly and husband, Mike, of Joshua; grandchildren, Suzi Norton, Mikey Kelly, Wayne Elam and Scott Elam; and great-grandchildren, Chloe Norton, Canyon Elam and William Kelly.
