JOSHUA -- Betty Joy Hardin McClure, 80, a homemaker of Joshua, died Wed. Aug 6, 2008 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10:00 A.M. Saturday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Betty was born Sept. 30, 1927 in Ranger to Luther Joseph and Mary Vila Mace Hardin. She married Delbert Dale McClure on May 17, 1946 in Fort Worth. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Joshua, the Order of Eastern Star, the Joshua Chamber of Commerce, and was a Girl Scout Leader for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years, a brother, Bud Hardin, and a sister, Wanda Rouse. survivors: Son, David Dale McClure and wife Kathy of Joshua; daughters, Cynthia Lee Easton of Joshua, Kathie Anne Teuscher of Houston; brothers, Bill Hardin and wife Jo of Joshua, Darrell Hardin and wife Madge of Fort Worth; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; numerous other family members and many friends.
