Betty Reeves, 63, of Joshua, a homemaker, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at a Dallas hospital. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cleburne Bible Church. Interment: White Church Cemetery near Glen Rose. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Memorials: Donations may be made to the Cleburne Pregnancy Center, Cleburne Bible Church building fund, or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org. Betty Catherine Reeves was born July 12, 1946, in Dallas to Gerald McKinley and Evelyn Morrow Powell. She married Terry Lynn Reeves on Dec. 27, 1969, in Granbury. She was a very loving wife, mother, and "Nanna," sister, friend, and a very faithful servant of her Savior. She was truly a Proverbs 31 wife. She dedicated her entire working career to helping others through the medical field and loved ministering to her patients. She was passionate about life. She loved her family, church family, friends, making memories, and sharing her faith with others. She joyfully volunteered her time at Cleburne Pregnancy Center and served in various ministries at Cleburne Bible Church using her God-given gift of hospitality. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jimmy Powell; and stepfather, Albert Mackie. Survivors: Husband, Terry Reeves of Joshua; son, Gerald Reeves and wife, Stephanie, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughters, Crystal Valentino and husband, Shawn, of Burleson, Kim Stuckey and husband, Chris, of Port Allegany, Pa.; sisters, Nancy Hollingwood and husband, Jim, of Pampa, Patsy Welch and husband, Travis, of Comanche; grandchildren, Cassey and Hunter Stuckey, Cord, Sawyer and Bryson Reeves, and Chloe Valentino; many nieces, nephews and other family members; and lots of friends.
