Betty Lou (Cofer) Stonebraker, "Momma Girl", 79 of Burleson, Texas, passed away on May 14, 2019 at her home, surrounded by 3 generations of her family.
Betty was born in Knoxville, TN on May 23, 1939. Later she lived in Chicago, IL and then moved to Fort Worth, TX in 1970. Her husband, Stoney, and she moved to Burleson, TX in 2000.Betty was married to Newell "Stoney" Stonebraker in 1999; they were married for 12 years. Betty worked as an assembly worker for General Dynamics for 10 years. Prior to that she worked for 20 years as a banquet manager. She enjoyed her gardening and flowers and spending time surrounded by her family.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, "Stoney", her sisters, Jewell Fisher, Johnnie Hughes, Sue Allred and brothers, Glen Cofer and Charles Cofer, parents John and Mary Cofer of Rockwood, TN.
Betty is survived by 3 great-great grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 12 grandchildren, 1 sister, Iva Shadden, 5 children, Steve Burton, Debbie Flippin, Mary Land, Cathy Cook and Wendy Lucky, many nieces and nephews, her 4 fur babies, Precious, Bear, Boo and Jasper, and many, many friends from Texas to Alaska.
