Betty Ruth Wallis, 80, of Burleson, passed away Tuesday June, 30 2015. Service: 10am Friday July 3, South Burleson Baptist Church. Visitation: 6-8pm Thursday, Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Burial: Bethany Rest Cemetery, Alvarado. Betty was born October 25, 1934 in Goatneck, to Troy Herman and Ruthie (Harris) Hackler. She was preceded in death by: parents; husband Carol E. Wallis; brother Troy Thurman Hackler; and sister Lois Jean Tyrone. Survivors: sons, Carroll Ray Wallis, and wife Becky, Joe Wallis and wife Janice; daughters, Beverly Holmes, and husband Wendall, Susan Barnett, and husband Andy, Donna Jenkins; 12 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, Billy Charles Hackler; Numerous nieces; nephews, loving extended family and friends.
