Bettye Sue Johnson

BURLESON -- Bettye Sue Johnson, 84, passed away Fri January 25, 2013 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10 am Monday at First Baptist Church of Burleson. Visitation: 6-8 pm Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: 2 pm Monday at Oran Cemetery in Oran, Tx. Bettye was born Oct. 8, 1928 in Mineral Wells to Samuel Clayton and Anna Lois Garrison Morrow. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Bettye was known as the "Card Lady" as she loved sending cards for any occassion. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Bettye also loved reading and cross stitching. In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the Bettye Johnson Scholarship @ First Bapt. Church of Burleson. Don't bother her between 11-12 noon because she is watching the Young and Restless. Survivors: Husband, Jim Johnson; daughter, Ann Twidell and husband David; son, Jimmy Johnson and wife Karen; grandchildren, Robyn McTighe and husband Mike, Mindy Duncan and husband Richard, Matt Hilley and wife Deese', Alleigh Glass and husband Eric, Bradley Johnson, Conner Johnson; great grandchildren, Annie, Erin and Megan McTighe, Sydney, Lucey, Jackson and Tristen Hilley, Kyle Duncan; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
