JOSHUA -- Beulah Elizabeth Dawson, 98 of Joshua, a retired Interior Decorator, died Tuesday Dec. 9, 2008 in Joshua. Graveside Service: 2:00 P.M. Thursday in Dawson Cemetery, Dawson. Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Mrs. Dawson was born Oct. 9, 1910 in Mexia to Exford and Iberia Carroll Sellers. She married Ned Dawson on Jan. 6, 1933. She was a self employed professional paper hanger and worked two years with the War Department in McGregor. She also worked at the Sewing Room in Hubbard. She loved history, was a charter member of the Navarro County Historical Society, and member of the First Baptist Church of Dawson. Survivors: Daughter, Betty Sawyer of Alvarado; sister, Gerda Sellers of Dawson; granddaughter, Brittany Todd of Cleburne; great grandchildren, Tyler, Andrew, and Bailey Todd; Many nieces and nephews.
