Beverly Ann Southard

JOSHUA -- Beverly Ann Southard, 74, a beloved Aunt of Joshua, died Wed. June 4, 2008 in Fort Worth. Graveside Service: 10:00 A.M. Saturday. Interment: Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Beverly was born Aug. 25, 1933 in Joshua to Loyed Eldon and Inez Mildred Brooks Southard. She was a lifelong resident of Joshua and enjoyed hanging out at the Owl Inn and Dairy Queen. She loved Dr. Pepper, Oreo's, M&M's, and was well known for her powder blue 1965 Mercury. She lived the past year at The Covenant Place in Burleson where she made many new friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Barbara Williams, and a cousin, Bob Brooks. Survivors: Nephew, George Williams and wife, Diane of Burleson; nieces, Lu Ann Britt and husband, Don of Burleson, Donna Burnette and husband, Mike of Fort Worth, Laura Pierce and husband, Jerry of Weatherford; cousin, Bill Brooks and wife, Betty of Fort Worth; caregiver, Bobbie Carpenter of Joshua; many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
