Bill Dalton Morris, 85, passed away August 31, 2014, in Fort Worth. Service: 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Kimbell Bend Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Bill was born May 4, 1929, in Whitney to James and Lena (Smith) Morris. He was a true cowboy and loved his family and church. Bill loved attending the cattle sale at Meridian. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Bill was preceded in death by: 4 brothers, Densil, Deris, Deral, and Darwin. Survivors: wife, Patsy Morris of Joshua; sons, Mike Morris and wife Gay of Burleson, Terry Morris and wife Karen of Joshua; daughters, Sandy Morris of Joshua, Lori Lyness and husband Tim of Rio Vista; grandchildren, Mandi Rogers, Brandon Morris, Morgan Lyness, Kellan Lyness, Taylor Morris, and Annie Morris; great grandsons, Cooper Rogers and Colton Rogers; 2 brothers, Dwain Morris and wife JoAnn of Kopperl, and Donald Morris and wife Mirt of Kopperl, extended family and friends.
