Joshua Texas -- Bill E. Simpson, 79 of Joshua, a retired Lithographer, died Monday June 23, 2008 in Fort Worth. Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m., Saturday. Interment: Caddo Cemetery in Joshua Texas. Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a childrens charity of choice or the North Texas Humane Society. Bill E. Simpson was born March 2, 1929 in Morning Star, Arkansas to Glenn E. and Donna Hughes Simpson. He married Celia Easterling on May 13, 1949 in Rogers, Arkansas. He proudly served his country in the US Navy. Bill enjoyed his life, loved his family, and just living. He was a Baptist. Survivors: Wife of 59 years, Celia Simpson of Joshua; daughter, Patricia "Trish" Jones and husband, Tom of Burleson; sister, Donna Lou Haggard and husband, Ivan of Bentonville, Arkansas; granddaughter, Tracee Palmer of Moore, Oklahoma; great grandson, Blane Palmer of Moore, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews, and a lot of friends.
