Bill Tomasek (Husband, Daddy and PawPaw) died peacefully at home on March 24, 2021. He was born in Buckholts, Texas on July 7, 1935 to Julius and Ruby Tomasek.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Ruby Tomasek, brothers O.J. Tomasek and Jimmy Tomasek, brother-in-law Joe Newman, nephew Michael Tomasek and nieces Karen Irvin and Sherry Farr.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Leatha Tomasek; sister Inell Newman; brother Donald and wife Carolyn Tomasek; daughters Vicky Courtney and husband Randy and Charlotte Harris and husband James; grandchildren: Christopher Harris, Nathan and wife Kindra Harris, Amanda and husband Cole Jenkins, Phillip and wife Esthefany Harris, Rachel Harris, Melissa Courtney and Jake Womack; great-grandchildren Kalla, Khloe, Macy, Grace, Sophia and Kami; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill and Leatha were married on July 30, 1955, and resided in Fort Worth, Texas until 1971 when they moved to Burleson, Texas. Upon moving to Briaroaks, Bill volunteered with the fire department. He was a litho printer by trade and in his later years opened his own print shop.

Daddy loved spending time with all his family, enjoying all the birthday dinners, get-togethers and holidays. He also loved to garden and keep the yard looking nice.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Total Hospice Care for the loving and compassionate care and kindness to him and the family during this difficult time.

We will be celebrating his life with visitation on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and aGraveside Service on Monday, March 29, 2021, at Mount Olivet, 2301 N. Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111, at 1:00pm.
