BURLESON -- Billie Jean Bullock, 78, died Sunday, May 6, 2007, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at The Church at Burleson. Burial: 2:30 P.M. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Grand Prairie. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Millett Bible Baptist Church Missions Program, Lansing, Mich.; Providence Children's Home, in care of Peoples Baptist Church, McDonough, Ga.; or the American Cancer Society. Billie Jean was born March 6, 1929, in Dresden, Tenn., to Carlos and Annie Mae Gatewood Parham. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a pastor's wife and loved the people they served for over 30 years in Lansing, Mich.; Dayton, Ohio; and Burleson. Family gatherings will not be the same without Granny Bullock. Billie Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Richard Bullock, in 2004 and infant daughter, Cathy, in 1956. Survivors: Sons, Jim Bullock and wife, Nancy, of Burleson, Terry Bullock and wife, Esther, of Burleson, Mark Bullock and wife, Peggy, of McDonough, Ga., and Ted Bullock and wife, Edie, of Saginaw. Her godly influence includes 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Ford of Richmond, Va.; brother, Joe "Uncle Bobo" Parham of Dresden, Tenn.; and many family members and friends who touched her life.
