BURLESON -- Billie Joyce Cooper, 72, of Burleson, a homemaker, passed away Monday, May 9, 2011, in Burleson. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Billie was born March 7, 1939, in Fort Worth to George Edmond and Tennie Mae Porter Pixler. Billie loved God and was faithful to him throughout her life. She also loved her family and spending time with them. She loved others and always put them first, before herself. Special thanks to Trinity Mission Nursing Home staff for their love and care. Billie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Cliff Richardson; husband, Hubert Cooper; one brother; and one sister. Survivors: Daughters, Dena Sellers and husband, Glen, of Burleson, Joyce Dawson and husband, Ken, of Burleson; brother, James Pixler and wife, Linda, of Rendon; sister, Nancy Cole of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Lori Garza, Chris Dawson, Brandon Sellers, Jeremy Dawson, Colton Dawson; five great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.
