Billie Jean Longley

Billie Jean Longley, 78, passed away January 12, 2014 in a Fort Worth Hospital. Service: 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Wednesday at Funeral Home. Billie was born January 23, 1935, in Midlothian to Elbert Claude Payton, Sr and Kathryn Shockley Payton. She earned her 4 year degree early in life. Billie taught and worked in health care industry as an R.N. at a young age and was a nurse for 50+ years. She was a member of the Burleson Church of Christ and loved to read. Survivors: daughter, Angela Waits and husband Billy of Burleson; sons, Timothy & Michael Longley; 4 grandchildren, Kris Longley, Brian Longley, Sara Longley, and Katy Waits, numerous extended family and friends.
