CROWLEY -- Billy Edward Faulkner, 80, a retired first class petty officer, died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2005, in Crowley. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Willow Creek Baptist Church Building Fund. Billy volunteered at an early age and served in World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a cook, baker and in aviation electronics. Billy was a member, greeter and chief hugger at Willow Creek Baptist Church. Survivors: Wife, Jan Faulkner of Crowley; daughters, Ginger Pratt and husband, Earl, of Milton, Fla., Janie McClinton and huband, Mike, of Longview; daughters, Cynthia Ashlock and husband, Wayne, of Lawton, Okla., and Deborah McClure and husband, David, of Crowley; grandchildren, Jennifer Neighbors, Jessica Williams, Shannon McClure, Ashley McClure, Justin Ashlock and Joshua Ashlock; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Kennedy Neighbors; brother, John Faulkner and wife, Patsy, of Fort Worth; sister, Ruth Devers of Eugene, Ore.; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved granddog, Gracie.
