Billy And Jean Hunt

BURLESON -- Billy and Jean Hunt of Burleson went to be with the Lord, Monday Oct. 1, 2007, while on vacation in Cancun, Mexico, from injuries sustained from a traffic accident. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Burleson. Visitation: None scheduled. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ Haven Children's Home. Billy, 57, was born July 8, 1950, in Vernon to Claude and Emma Lee Hunt. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Jeanne, 51, was born Oct. 27, 1955, in Little Rock, Ark., to John W. and Mary Reed Cowen. They were united in marriage on Aug. 15, 1998, in Lake Tahoe, Nev. Together they loved traveling, landscaping, and entertaining family and friends. Jeanne was preceded in death by her father, John W. Cowen, in 1977. Survivors: Their children, Emily Hunt of Fort Worth, Shea Hunt of Fort Worth, and Adam Fuqua of San Diego, Calif.; his father, Claude Hunt and wife, Fleta of North Richland Hills; her mother, Mary Cowen of Burleson; his brother, Jerry Hunt and wife, Mary, of Euless; her brother, Mike Cowen and wife, Michelle, of Burleson; her sisters, Kay Fair and husband, Rusty, of Burleson, Leslie Ohara and husband, Gerald Daniels, of Burleson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
