JOSHUA -- Billy Esten Murdick Jr., 54, of Joshua, a brick mason, died Monday, March 2, 2009, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Billy was born Oct. 4, 1954, in Clovis, N.M., to Billy Esten Sr. and Eunice Lee Percifull Murdick. He enjoyed working in his yard and garden, and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his mother. Survivors: Daughters, Tracy Ann Murdick Alvarado and husband Carlos, Tiffany Murdick; father, Billy Esten Murdick Sr.; mother of his two daughters, Pamela Ann Murdick Holland; brothers, Bobby DeWayne Murdick and wife, Lisa, Michael Lee Murdick and wife, Rose, Troy Don Murdick; sister, Wanda Joy Slawson and husband, James; grandchildren, Meagan Murdick, Macy Murdick, Ayden Alvarado, Skylar Moon, Gage Murdick; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
