Billy Harold Ranson

Billy Harold Ranson, 83, of Joshua, a retired assembler for Bell Helicopter, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Caddo Cemetery, Joshua. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Billy Harold Ranson was born May 3, 1927, in Cleburne to Charlie R. and Laura Allen Ranson. He married Velma Brown in 1980 in Fredericksburg; she preceded him in death in 2008. He was a Baptist. Survivors: Son, Randall W. Ranson and wife, Brenda, of Fort Worth; sister, Charlene Terry of Tulsa, Okla.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
