Billy Dean Shetter

BURLESON -- Billy Dean Shetter, 81, of Burleson, a retired furniture upholsterer, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lighthouse Church of Burleson. Visitation was Monday evening at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Bill was born May 23, 1928, in Burleson to John and Maudie King Shetter. He married Patsy Jo Green on Jan. 29, 1955 in Burleson. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved spending time with his grandkids and family. He also enjoyed sitting under his big pecan tree on the corner and drinking his coffee. Bill also liked to watch boxing on TV. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son; an infant grandson; two infant great-grandsons; sisters, Dale Wicker, Wandean McClure; and brothers, Pete Shetter, Kenneth Shetter and L.D. Shetter. Survivors: Wife, Pat Shetter of Burleson; son, Greg Shetter and wife, Kathy, of Venus; daughters, Kim Hollingsworth of Burleson and Margo Bohon and husband, James, of Joshua; brothers, Fred Shetter of Burleson and Johnny Shetter of Burleson; sister, Shirley Willoughby of Burleson; 10 grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren.
