Billy C. Walker, 78, of Joshua went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009. Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Billy was born Dec. 24, 1930, to William and Belle Walker in Eulogy. He married his wife of 58 years, Bobbie, on Oct. 6, 1951. He was preceded in death by his father; mother; infant daughter, Vickie Gale Walker; three sisters; and one brother. Survivors: Wife, Bobbie Walker; sons, Mickey Walker and wife, Dianne, and Terry Walker and Janie; grandchildren, Brian Walker and wife, Wendy, Angie Lewis and husband, Kevin, Amy Walker and Taylor Walker; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Herschel Walker; special sister-in-law, DeDe Rutherford; special nephew, Lovell Phillips; and many other nieces and nephews.
