Bobbi Ann Hardee Berry, 67, passed away peacefully at home in Burleson, Texas and was greeted by our Heavenly Father on June 22, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Bobbi was born December 17, 1951, in Cleburne, Texas to Robert "Bob" Archie Hardee and Patricia Ann Corthay. She graduated from Joshua High School in 1970 with honors, where she excelled in sports and represented her school as a Majorette. Bobbi attended Tarrant County College and studied Management Development. Afterward, she began her lifelong career of forty-three years at Tandy/Radio Shack as a Product Content Merchandising Specialist and retired as an Omni-Channel Merchandise Specialist. She remained active in sports, ran marathons, and played softball. While playing softball, she met her husband James Berry. They married in Fort Worth, Texas on May 31, 1985, and built their home on the family farm where she continued to garden and raise her family. Some of her family's favorite memories include the years that she spent dedicated to coaching little dribblers, family vacations, spending time with her grandchildren, and attending their sporting events where she was eager to keep score or volunteer her services. Mimi's door was always open and a place to gather for Sunday dinners, holidays, and birthdays. Today we celebrate her life in remembering the many memories we cherish.
She is proceeded in death by her father Robert "Bob" Archie Hardee, mother Patricia Ann Corthay, brother Stephen Wesley Hardee, and niece Robyn DeAnn Richter.
Bobbi is survived by her husband of thirty-four years, James Edward Berry; daughters, Jaymi Berry, Rachael Berry Dodd and husband Bruce; sisters, Vicki Hardee Clark and husband Mike, Lisa Hardee; loving grandchildren, Tatum McCord, Brynn Dodd, and Ryder Dodd; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
