Bobby Wayne Bonham was born in Cleburne Texas on January 15, 1941 to Stanley and Lois Bonham. He passed peacefully on November 26, 2020.

Bobby moved to Burleson when he was a year and a half old and grew up with 4 brothers and one sister. The family attended the Burleson Church of Christ.

Bobby graduated Burleson High School, attended Abilene Christian College for one year then joined the military. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1960 to 1964. He retired from Union Pacific Railroad after 37 years and owned and operated Bonham Construction.

Bobby was married to Diane Smith until her death in 1974. He and Janice Delmere were married in 1975 for 45 years. Bobby was a devoted husband and father to seven children. He was a dedicated Christian and a good example to those who knew him.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Bonham and Lois Castleman, brothers Farrell and Cecil Bonham, wife Diane Bonham, sisters in law Gayle and Pat Bonham. He is survived by his wife Janice Bonham and 7 children. Monty Bonham (Leigh), Shawna Smetak (Joe), Chris Delmere (Tracy), Lori Coleman (Wylie), Nicole Stevens (Ross), Ronnie Smith and Keith Whatley. He has 20 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by sister Dean Hawkins (Bill), brothers Charles Bonham (Margaret) and Murvin Bonham, sisters in law Nelda and Theresa Bonham.
