Bobby Dale Finch, 69, of Burleson, went to the Big Fishing Hole on February 2, 2015, after a brief pulmonary infection. Memorial service will be held on Friday, February 13, at 4:00 p.m. at Mountain Valley Funeral Home, 3407 SW Wilshire Blvd., Joshua, Texas 76058. Bobby was born March 29, 1945 in Geary, Oklahoma, to Mickey and June Finch. His youth was spent trapping beaver on the river, working farms, fishing, and noodling. Bobby lived a full and diverse life, he worked as a railroad yardman, served in the U.S. Army and became a talented, self-taught portrait artist. Survivors include his wife Jean, of the home; 4 children: Dana Strawn, Lawton, Oklahoma, Robert Walker and wife Diana, Weatherford, Oklahoma, son bobby Gene Finch and wife Adena, Yukon, Oklahoma, and Jeff Sloan and wife Lynn, Ft. Worth, Texas; 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and a sister: Carroll Finch and wife Jenny, Sonny Finch, and Myrna Cusick and husband Bob; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend Ginger, a beautiful red-headed Staffordshire terrier, who will miss Bobby's quiet companionship.
