Bobby Lowe Jr., 83 of Covington, a retired car man for Union Pacific Railroad, died Tuesday Sept. 6, 2011 in Fort Worth. Graveside Service: 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Interment: Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation: 1-3 p.m. Saturday prior to service at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Russell Armond "Bobby" Lowe, Jr. was born Aug. 6, 1928 in Fort Worth to Russell Armond, Sr. and Willie Pearl Milner Lowe. He married Norma Jean Hudson on June 7, 1952 in Aubrey. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, was a 32nd degree mason, and a shriner. Bobby worked for the railroad for 43 years, loved farming, and raising cattle. He was a Baptist. Survivors: Wife, Norma Jean Lowe of Covington; sons, Tracy Lowe and wife Becky, of Covington, Michael Lowe and wife Cindy, of Rome, GA., David Lowe and wife, Rhonda of Fort Worth; brother, John E. Lowe and wife, Stella of Cleveland; grandchildren, Christa, Bryan, Amanda, Emily, Russell, Tracy Jr.; great grandchildren, Tristan, Ashley, Stetson, Lexi, and Lilly Grace.
