Bobby Joe Roark

Bobby Joe Roark, 78, of Crowley, Texas, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015. Bobby was born Nov. 21, 1936, to Charles Edward Roark and Ruby Cannon. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 18, at First Baptist Church of Crowley, officiated by Pastor Joel McCoy. Visitation is from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Bobby was an electrician and served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed coaching baseball and football, music, spending time with grandkids, fishing and hunting, going to Port Aransas and driving his tractor and working on the land. He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Roark of Crowley; son, Chuck Roark and wife, April of Crowley; daughters, Jackie Will and husband, Chris, of San Antonio and Bobett Vroon and husband, Jerry, of Crowley; grandchildren, Cassie Vroon, Donny Vroon, Sara Roark and Brittany Roark; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
