Bobby (B.J.) White

Bobby "B.J." White, 85, of Burleson passed away Friday, March 14, 2014. Funeral: 9 a.m. Wednesday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Fred Parker officiating. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. B.J. was born Sept. 15, 1928, in Ardmore, Okla., to the late Robert and Lillian Oakley White. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Korean War and the Vietnam War eras, attaining the rank of staff sergeant. B.J. was a longtime member of Elks Lodge #841 in Cleburne and Tri-Cities VFW #6872. Survivors: Wife, Helen White; sons, Robert White and wife, Pam, Scott Britton and wife, Patricia; daughters, Rebecca Clark and husband, Roger, Sherry Britton and Stacy Britton; sisters, Christine, Marie, Juanita; and a host of loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
