Brandon Joaquin Zachry

November 16, 1970 — September 3, 2017

Brandon Joaquin Zachry of Burleson passed away Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017. He was born Nov. 16, 1970, to Randol and Jan Zachry. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, at First United Methodist Church of Joshua. Interment: 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, at DFW National Cemetery.​ Brandon was a loving husband, father and friend, who loved his God and his country. He also loved learning, woodworking, leather working and shooting guns. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a tank driver and infantry officer. He was a veteran of Desert Storm. He loved doing charity work, especially with Operation Blessing in Cleburne. Survivors: Celeste Zachry of Burleson; daughters, Kirsten Zachry and Britton Zachry; brothers, Mark Zachry and wife, Tiffany, of Seattle and Ryan Zachry and wife, Kate, of Eagle River, Alaska; parents, Randol and Jan Zachry of Seattle; brothers-in-law, Bryan Hill and wife, Melissa, of Aledo, Texas, and Jarrett Hill and wife, Cecila, of Fort Worth; in-laws, Joe and Viva Hill of Fort Worth; goddaughter, Katie Laman of Austin; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
