Bruce Benton Mcgill

Bruce Benton McGill, age 64, died at his residence in Fort Worth on November 23, 2018 of a heart attack.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 5th at 4:00 pm followed by a memorial service at 5:00 pm at Mountain Valley Funeral Home, 3407 SW Wilshire Blvd, Joshua, TX. His ashes will be interned at a later date at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery for veterans.
Bruce was born on December 20, 1953 to Mary and George McGill and grew up southwest of Burleson. He attended high school in Joshua, Texas where he excelled in athletics. He was honored this year by inclusion into the basketball and football Hall of Fame. After an eight-year career in the Army, he worked in the transportation industry until retirement. Bruce's love of golf led him to attend famous events at Pebble Beach in California and the Masters in Georgia.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his brother, Howard Hamilton of Fort Worth and his cousins, Judy Tice of Burleson and Pam Jordan of Weatherford.
