Byrdie Satterwhite passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, in Fort Worth. Service: 10 a.m. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Byrdie was born April 23, 1932, in Crockett to Dewey B. and Mildred Sims. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Satterwhite, and brother, J.D. Sims. Survivors: Daughter, Lisa Gunter and husband, Tony; granddaughters, Brandi Davis and husband, Chuck, Lauren Gunter; grandson, Dustin Ray; great-grandchildren, Cody Ray, Cutter Davis and Kinley Davis; sister, Bettye Hargrove; brother, Van Sims; and extended family and friends.
