Byron Matthew Schreiner was born in Ft Worth, TX on March 2,1967 to Willard and Barbara Schreiner. He passed away peacefully in the early evening of December 27, 2021.

Byron grew up in Everyman and Burleson, TX with his parents and sister Laura. He attended Burleson High School and played baseball for the Elks. He graduated BHS in 1985. Byron went to Hill College where he continued his baseball career.

Byron married the love of his life, Andrea on August 24, 1998. They lived in Burleson until his work took them to Houston, TX and Lake Charles, LA for several years before moving back to Burleson.

Byron had 2 children of whom he was extremely proud.  Byron’s daughter, Brittany Rogers, an elementary teacher and stay at home mom, resides in Arlington with her husband David and their 3 children, Cason, Madden & Kinsley. His son, Cade serves in the US Army as combat medic and is currently serving overseas.  Byron was a proud Dad, Daddy, and Pops or Poppy, as Maddie liked to call him.

Byron was preceded in death by his father Willard Schreiner, mother-in-law Ronda Berry and sister-in-law Jeannie Harwell.

He is survived by his wife Andrea and two children, Brittany and Cade. Mother, Barbara and sister Laura of Burleson, TX. Robert and Carry Berry of Blackhawk, CO and brother-in-law David Harwell of Lewisville, TX.

Byron was a great guy who was well loved and had a huge zest for life and the Texas Longhorns. He loved to travel to the beach and gamble. He will forever live in our hearts and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Hook ‘em Horns!
