Carey Dale Crawford

Carey Dale Crawford was born in Lubbock, Texas on September 5th, 1959, to Grady and Wanda (Conn) Crawford. Carey passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning January 24, 2024, as he was transported to his heavenly home surrounded by his family.
Carey is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Lisa (Hearn) Crawford. Carey & Lisa met as young teenagers and it was love at first sight. The two have 3 beautiful children, Cara and husband Richard, Carey and wife Angela, and youngest son Richard; as well as 5 grandchildren; Jaedyn, Emma, Brookelyn, Preston, and Madison. Carey is survived by 3 siblings, Christi, Greg, and Danny. Carey was preceded in death by his parents Grady and Wanda and his oldest sibling Allen.
Carey grew up in Lubbock surrounded by family, living life to the fullest, always finding ways to keep everyone he knew on their toes, as he thought he was invincible. He met his beautiful wife Lisa at a very young age, they got married and started their family, later moving to the DFW area where he would end up finding a knack for electrical work to provide for his family.
Carey loved hard and everyone loved him harder, he was smart, a man of great strength and a love for the Lord. Although in the last several years he battled cancer and lung disease his strength and faith never wavered. Carey knew his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the gates of Heaven patiently awaited his arrival.
While we here are heartbroken by his death, we know he is no longer in pain and is no longer suffering and he is now in the arms of the Lord and so in love with his new healthy body and life. We know we will see him again when the Lord calls us home and until then we will cherish the time we had and the memories we created with the man we all felt was invincible. We love you and miss you more that we could ever put into words, until we see you again you will live firmly in our hearts... You can now rest easy.
