BURLESON -- Carla Sue Tawater, 45, a homemaker, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2005, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Burleson. Burial: 3 p.m. at Evergreen-Bundrant Cemetery in Coryell County, west of Gatesville. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Carla was born Jan. 11, 1960, in Gatesville, to Sam and Donie Calhoun Myers. She married Tony Tawater Dec. 5, 1981, in Arlington. She was a beloved mother, wife and daughter, a member of Lone Willow Baptist Church in Cleburne and a wonderful person. Survivors: Husband, Tony Tawater; daughter, Serenity Tawater; sons, Neal and Jared Tawater, all of Burleson; parents, Sam and Donie Myers of Purmela; brothers, Andrew Myers and wife, Debbie of Alvarado, David Myers and wife, Sharon of Purmela; sisters, Brenda Jeffers and husband Richard of Evant, Ellen Myers of Purmela; grandmother, Verda Calhoun of Evant; 23 nieces and nephews; and four cousins.
